Founder and Executive Chairman
Scott has been a fire guy since 1985, starting out as a pipe fitter and foreman on commercial projects, before founding Century Fire Protection in 2000. His vision for the firm and passion for superior customer experiences permeates the entire organization and is what has helped Century Fire grow to be one of the most well-respected fire protection companies in the Southeastern U.S. Today, as Executive Chairman, Scott focuses on the company’s long-term strategic growth initiatives and acquisition partnership opportunities.
RICHARD DEEB
Chief Executive Officer and President
Richard started his career in the fire protection industry as a construction superintendent outfitting commercial malls and shopping centers. He joined Century Fire Protection in 2004 and has been instrumental in the company’s financial and operational growth. Today, as Chief Executive Officer and President, Richard oversees all aspects of Century Fire’s operations including contract negotiations, conflict resolution, legal issues, sales, billing and collections, and insurance.
MELVIN DONATO
Vice President, Service & Inspections
Melvin has always been in the fire protection industry and has served in various roles as he has grown and garnered experiences. He has focused the last 10 years in building and growing a solid and scalable, service model in the Atlanta market. Today, Melvin focuses on maintaining continued growth, and replicating his proven service model across Century’s entire service footprint.
ALEX POLYAKMAN
Chief Financial Officer
Alex joined Century Fire Protection in 2022 and has worked in senior financial leadership roles for manufacturing and service companies over the last 10 years. Prior to Century, he held leadership roles at Akzo Nobel Coatings and TK Elevator (formerly ThyssenKrupp). Alex’s passion is helping companies achieve sustainable growth, establishing and developing finance function and partnering with operations to drive incremental improvement. Alex earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in International Business from Georgia State University.
